The pupils in the 6th grade have recycled toilet rolls, old magazines and scrap paper to make Christmas crackers to wish their mates a Happy Christmas.
Let’s have a look at the steps to follow:
1- They write their wishes on a piece of scrap paper.
2- They wrap the toilet paper with some colour tissue paper.
3- They fasten the end of the cracker with a string ribbon.
4- They put their wishes into the roll and fasten the other end of the cracker.
5- They cut out letters to make up their names out of old magazines.
6- They glue the names on the crackers.
7- They put the crackers into a bag and every pupil takes a cracker out at random. They are expected to open them on Christmas Eve.
It has been a collaborative task; while some pupils were cutting out the letters, others were wrapping the rolls and gluing the names. Due to this collaboration, 15 crackers have been created in a session of 45 minutes. The writing of the wishes was carried out in a previous session.
